As facilitators, we have a responsibility to our participants to create a safe environment for learning, both emotionally safe and physically safe. To the best of our ability, we need to create an optimal learning environment so participants can 100% participate. This workshop will provide hands-on tools and concepts that attendees can apply in their own programs.

Learning Objectives:

1. Attendees will learn five simple and effective techniques for creating an emotionally and physically safe environment for their participants, as well as introduce innovative activities that demonstrate each technique.

2. Attendees will experientially explore the Comfort Zone Model that includes the Comfort Zone, Stretch Zone and Danger Zone.

3. Attendees will receive a stellar handout with instructions for all activities and the five techniques presented.
