This workshop will review how ground-based, high, and low ropes activities can be adapted with intentionality and how to train facilitators to this end. The workshop will further outline how the adaptations have been utilized by groups over the course of the first 18 months of operation of the ISU high and low ropes course as an example.

Learning Objectives:

Attendees will identify 2 changes they can make NOW to make their course more inclusive.

Attendees will identify 2 strategies or theories they can implement when training staff to enhance their flexibility/adaptable facilitation.

Attendees will learn what others in the industry are doing to adapt programs & share ideas through discussion during the workshop.
