K-12 teachers often function in isolation with little university interaction. However, in adventure education programs, one successful strategy to promote continued growth has been to create a sustainable triad between K-12 physical education teachers, university faculty, and a PVM. This session will include strategies to help build these relationships, benefits of the triad, and future goals and directions.

Learning Objectives:

1) Learn strategies to facilitate collaboration between K-12 schools, a university, and a PMV
2) Discuss benefits of collaboration
3) Discuss future goals and directions afforded by collaboration
