In this workshop, participants will learn which calculations are traditionally measured in aerial environments. Using examples, participants will learn how to calculate the tension and the safety-factor of zip lines, cables among others. Participants will receive a template to be used during the workshop and an informative guide with the workshop content to be used on their own aerial environments.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will learn how to calculate zip line tensions.
- Participants will learn to calculate safety factor, expected loads, Working Load Limit among others.
- Participants will learn how to calculate the strength of the different components of the circuit.
- Participants will receive an informative guide with the presentation content.
