Squaring the Circle through Simplified Design – FP21

Description: Using simplified design, come explore an experiential learning tool designed to foster a win-win mentality while balancing the need to achieve both individual and team goals. Participants will experience an ever-evolving challenge where teams work collaboratively to minimize error while achieving a defined result. Effective communication and planning skills are essential to achieve both small and large team success.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore strategies for identifying specific roles, responsibilities and accountabilities as well as strategies essential to collaboration within and between teams.
  • Build a working understanding of team dynamics within the context of creating a collegial environment where all teams have the opportunity to succeed.
  • Define effective critical thinking and problem solving skills necessary for building consensus.
