Participants will define and explore the concept of perceived risk and why increased attention to low element activities can help increase and improve the value of high element activities. Through interactive demonstration and discussion, the workshop will explore how the extended use of perceived risk enriches the value of a challenge course experience.

Attendees will…
-define and demonstrate perceived risk
-understand how a focus on a high’s only program can cut short the true value of a ropes course program
-demonstrate and discuss how low elements can help increase the value and effectiveness of high element activities
