The highly anticipated Harnessing ACCT event returns to Tacoma, bringing together teams from across the industry to showcase their skills, camaraderie, and competitive spirit. Set against the backdrop of the 37th Annual ACCT International Conference, this event is a celebration of collaboration, expertise, and fun.

Participants will compete in challenges designed to highlight technical abilities, teamwork, and creativity, culminating in the iconic cable whip showdown. Whether you’re gearing up to compete, cheer on your colleagues, or simply enjoy the excitement, Harnessing ACCT is an event not to be missed.

How to Play

  1. Sign up! Registration will launch in December.
  2. Request teammates during registration or create new connections with a random team assignment.
  3. The Conference Work Group will connect with you before the conference starts with information about your team and to get you set up in the Goosechase app.
  4. Gather your team at the conference and work together to complete missions to earn points!
  5. The top three teams are recognized during the Awards Ceremony and earn a small prize with serious bragging rights.

Timeline

  • Kickoff Huddle: Thursday January 21st following the Welcome Reception.
  • Complete Missions: All around the city of Tacoma!
  • Submissions Due: Saturday January 23rd at 2pm in the Goosechase app.
  • Winners Announced: Saturday January 23rd during the Awards Ceremony.

Is this part of the ACCT Olympics?

Yes! This is the ACCT Olympics, reimagined. Harnessing ACCT is the updated version of the original Builders Olympics, evolving the event to better align with its founding goal: fostering connections among attendees in a fun, laid-back environment.
